Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

This site is built to be usable without giving us anything. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no newsletter. Below is exactly what happens when you use it.

What is stored on your device

We use your browser's local storage for three things: the friend's name you type into the personalization field, the wishes you mark as favorites, and your last card style and font preference. This data stays in your browser. It is never transmitted to our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

Cards and messages

Birthday cards are rendered entirely in your browser using a client-side image library. The message you type and the card you download are not uploaded, stored or seen by anyone else.

Advertising

The site reserves space for advertising. When ads are active, third-party advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, as described in their own privacy policies. Ad slots are clearly labelled and do not cover content. If you are in a region with consent requirements, ads should only load after consent is collected by the advertising provider.

Sharing links

Buttons for WhatsApp and SMS open those apps with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it, and the message is composed on your device.

Analytics

We do not run invasive analytics. If privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics are added in the future, they will not identify you personally and this page will be updated first.

Children

This site is a general-audience content site. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
